She completed an APA-accredited predoctoral internship with the Department of Children and Families at Florida State Hospital in Chattahoochee, Florida where she authored evaluations for the courts regarding competency to stand trial and need for continued commitment for those adjudicated Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity, provided treatment for pre- and post-trial defendants, and worked as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team serving a maximum-security forensic admissions unit. Bennett is currently completing her postdoctoral residency at Psychological Affiliates, Inc. Bennett has experience conducting a wide variety of assessments and evaluations including comprehensive psychological assessment, pre- and post-trial evaluations for the courts, assessment of response style, personality assessment, parental fitness, and assessment of violence and recidivism risk.
