Below are a bunch of fun Perler bead designs and ideas that my 9 year-old son and I have created. Perler bead cactus. Using a mini flower pot and air dry clay. You can either create your own pattern or find inspiration from pyssla templates available online. Make sure to plan your design according to the size of your pegboard. You can use your fingers or tweezers for more precise placement. Place a sheet of ironing paper or parchment paper on top of your design to protect both the beads and your iron. Set your iron to medium heat and gently press it over the paper in circular motions for about seconds. The beads will stick together as they cool down, creating a solid and sturdy piece. Your pyssla creation is now ready to be displayed or used as desired. Pyssla is a fun and rewarding craft that allows you to create intricate designs with just a few simple materials.

With only the small board I managed to use half the container and created over little pieces of 'art'. There are also beads like this called Hama Beads and Perler Beads. As well as the Pyssla beads you need a pegboard to hold the beads together while you create the designs and when you iron them. Unfortunately this pegboard was ironed over so the pegs have gone blunt. Time to by a new one! I'm using a space invaders character for this demonstration-I'm running out of blacks so it can only be something small.
