Qualaag
The Chaos Witch Quelaag is the final boss you face on your qualaag to ring the two bells of awakening. She is found at the bottom of Blighttownin her lair, qualaag. She is qualaag large spider demon that employs fire attacks as her main form of offense.
Quelaag once lived with her mother, the Witch of Izalith , and her siblings in the ancient city of Izalith. After the Flame of Chaos incident, all but her sister Quelana were transformed into demons. She and one of her sisters escaped the worst of it, having their lower torsos bound to giant spiders. Fleeing their deranged, demonic kin, they climbed to the base of Blighttown , and Quelaag fashioned themselves a home. Maneater Mildred You must have defeated her Dark Spirit form earlier in the level, within the swamp, to be able to summon her as a white phantom. Her Soul Sign is in front of the fog gate. Note she may use her pounce attack upon engaging you after you enter the fog gate.

Dark Souls is loved by fans around the globe for its sprawling world, unique weapon design, and hands-off storytelling. She can be a major difficulty for most beginners due to her high health, and a lack of early-game tools to mitigate her abilities. Make sure to grab the bonfire between the two jetties in the swamp. Then head to the spider webs and through the fog gate. Before working your way there, there are a few things to grab which will make life easier. This is to make getting to the fight easier, so you can save on those Estus flasks. Equip the Rusted Iron Ring to move quickly through the difficult terrain, using the moss clumps to deal with any poison or toxic status effects. In the Undead Burg, head to the stairs which had the flaming barrel trap at the start of the game, en route to the Taurus Demon. Use the Residence Key to go through the house, open the chest and take the resin. Whether you defeat her or not, she can help you against Quelaag by using her summoning sign outside the fog gate. If you do wish to beat Maneater Mildred, she has slow, weak attacks and can be stun locked by any weapon, but her fast movement speed and the poisonous swamp can be problematic. To counter this, lure her into the bonfire area, then focus on parries and backstabs to defeat her quickly and safely. If you summon Maneater Mildred to help you with Quelaag and she survives the boss fight, she will take half the souls you acquire. Firstly, Quelaag deals a lot of fire damage and is also immune to it.
These attacks are slow to execute and provide a good opportunity to strafe around to her side and land several melee attacks. For the stomp, keep qualaag eye on the front hind legsthis is your queue to get the qualaag out of Dodge — or dodge out of heck, qualaag, whichever you prefer.
Chaos Witch Quelaag is a boss in Dark Souls. Quelaag is a daughter of the Witch of Izalith and, along with most of her family, failed to escape from the chaotic flame and was corrupted by it. Due to exposure to the flame, Quelaag and her sister mutated into spider-like creatures with their upper body being fused to the monsters' backs. She is the Fair Lady 's older sister. When their mother, the Witch of Izalith along with their other two sisters became the Bed of Chaos , she fled with her sister.
A half-woman, half-spider demon located in a lair near the bottom of Blighttown. One of the Witch of Izalith 's daughters, transformed into a monster by the Flames of Chaos. She guards the second Bell of Awakening, and the entrance to her sister's domain. It may be worth knowing that she only fought you to protect her sister, who is in a permanent coma-like state So when you enter her sister's domain and talk to her, she thinks you are her sister, which is later revealed if you talk to her whilst wearing the Old Witch's Ring. Quelaag slashes in either direction with her sword. Block or roll to avoid these. These slashes are also angled outwards from her human portion and therefore typically miss if you are very close to the spider's head. Not a huge threat. This attack extends straight over the spider's head and has much more range than expected.
