She is the mysterious but ever-so-important non-playable character in this notoriously difficult game that moves the story along by giving you a major quest line.

When you first encounter her, she will introduce herself to you as Renna, and will then give you the Spirit Calling Bell, which allows you to summon spirits. The next time you meet her will be at the Three Sisters location, where she will reveal her true name to be Ranni. However, at a certain point, Ranni can no longer be at her tower there, seemingly missing. Understandably, players are confused over what they need to do to get her to once again spawn there. You will need to do this if you want to get to Nokron Eternal City.

Concerning Ranni, assuming she really isn't there sitting at the top of her tower, try using a grace to reset the area and check again. It's very rarely happened, but a few times an NPC just I already did, also teleported out, talked to everyone at the roundtable and no luck she's still not there and i read somewhere that she has servants in her tower and they are also not there I haven't beat radhan and I'm afraid that if I do it without speaking to her first I'd lock myself out of her quest. I don't know if I talked to her at the beginning of the game at the church of elleh, but I killed Loretta already and the internet says I need to do one of these two things to make her show up in the tower.

Throughout Elden Ring there are a number of Rises that can be found, but most of them are sealed shut and require players to solve a nearby puzzle to gain entry. Renna's Rise is a little bit different - instead of solving puzzles or jumping onto a jutting balcony, players need to progress significantly through one of the game's most interesting storylines.
