Isn't there some reeces rainbow of licensing process for adoption agencies? I wonder if there is any federal licensing or if it is just state based or what state this agency is in. This agency is soliciting funds to help a family with 6 children 10 and under to adopt three special needs orphans from bad orphanage situations in eastern Europe. I am absolutely pro-adoption. My first child was adopted from an Eastern European country and we are in the process of adopting from an Eastern European country, with Down's Syndrome, a second time. In fact, my stance on Reece's Rainbow stems directly from being pro-adoption. My children are not from Reece's Rainbow as Reece's Rainbow does not facilitate UK adoptions and I would likely not go through Reece's Rainbow if they did, but that's for later in this post. In this way my opinions aren't meant to be a personal attack on parents who have gone this route for their children. I believe that the orphan crisis is real because I've seen it firsthand. Any child who has been rescued from the conditions of the orphanages in some of the Eastern European countries is a lucky child and any parent who has rescued a child is a lucky parent.

RR may not be the agency but they are very much a part of this if they are hosting a fundraising site for these adoptions. I totally understand the concerns of the posters here, they have valid concerns. Only 75 emoji are allowed. We all want every family to be happy, too. Of course, maybe this is some kind of honeymoon of sorts and they will go nuts again as they worry about how permanent it is, get scared of it being permanent, etc. What do others think? They have to go through a different agency. I'd hope that the agency is aware of how many children they have, and how they will cope with the children they are adopting. Probably a better practice for RR would be to post photos of kids who have been successfully adopted and whose parents give permission for their photos to be posted.
