In the lead up to Christmas last year I got together with friends and we created our Christmas cards for family members, reindeer card footprint. At the time F was 9 months old and J was 16 months old and T was yet to be born.

We have teamed up with The Mad House to join in with the kid made Christmas card series. The designs that I think are the best for little ones are footprint Christmas cards. My daughter JJ and I made a stack of these Christmas cards when she was just a 6 month old baby. Great-Grandma must have kept it in her Christmas box these past four years! We made these footprint cards four years ago, back when we were living in Melbourne. On a table, we laid out some brown paint next to several pieces of white card stock, with wet wipes, a bowl of warm water and a few hand towels on the floor near by. I love how the teeny little toes act as the antlers. Once the paint had dried, we glued on red pom poms, tiny googly eyes, little bells, red ribbons, green Christmas trim and some Merry Christmas stickers. I think I made four or five of these cards in this one session, and the other mums did the same. I received lots of oohs and aahs when we handed them out to our extended family. I should have made one for us to keep too! They are hanging up around our place again this year, causing lots of spontaneous kissing!
