As you explore and attempt to escape the Bedroom, you'll find a few Dead Rats littered around. There are just three in total, but are surprisingly easy to miss, with one requiring a specific step before it'll reveal itself to you. Discovering a Dead Rat is a simple case of investigating it, and you have to find them all in a single playthrough for the Achievement of Trophy to pop, and will do so as soon as you look at the third and final Dead Rat. The first Dead Rat location can be found straight away. It's in the corner of the room between Untitled Painting B and the bedside clock that, when you solve its puzzle, moves the bed away. The second Dead Rat location can be found after Marguerite gives you more food - Fork, Stove and a pot of stew.

Once out of bed, grab the Lantern and walk to the other side of the bed. Look left of the table and peer behind some green shutters against the wall to spot the Dead Rat lying behind them. Once Marguerite brings you the Stove, Fork, and some ugly stew, you'll need to bite the bullet or rather the stew to find this rat. Use the Fork on the stew to take a bite, then get up and walk around to the other side of the bed to look down at the stew. You'll have uncovered a Dead Rat peeking out of the stew that you can inspect. Once inside, look atop the bookshelf next to the Shadow Puzzle box and just to the left of an upside down chair to spot the last Dead Rat on the top of the furniture.
