While Aegon put up a palisade around the highest of three hills, Rhaenys and Visenya were sent out to secure the submission of the castles nearby. Rhaenys flew on Meraxes to Rosby, which yielded peacefully to her. When the Aegonfort was finished, Aegon was crowned in front of old supporters and newly defeated enemies.
