Lee Hardcastle: I've worked for Adult Swim for about 10 years now, they've always hired me to do the little idents in between the TV shows, you know, "You're watching Adult Swim. So, that initially was just five items, and then we ended up making about 36 in the end, over the years, this has been going on for years and years and years. Then, it was last year they emailed me, and asked if I'd be interested in getting involved in making a short film based on the Rick and Morty characters , and they were explaining that they'd already made three films with anime animation studios, and those ones were really focused on Rick and Morty, the Rick and Morty.
