Advice please. Since Rogers is now only servicing their Ignite system and tell us they have no equipment to replace our "legacy" PVR, we are considering switching to Bell Fibe. We currently have Bell Internet. However, we use On Demand a lot and w ould not be interested IF it isn't possible to rewind or fast forward , which several entries on this Forum are stating. Is this still the case?

People have been asking about this for years. However, Rogers will not comment publicly about any products until they are announced, nor will they say whether or not this is even planned. Oh Man If you are not going to provide access to all the apps in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store then there is no point in trying to make apps work on your own hardware. They should just stay out of that business and support their app for the handful of platforms out there. Rogers has not taken it down in fact, they released a new build with Ignite TV branding but it is only available to former Shaw customers. Will be interesting to see where this goes. I personally feel that it would be in Rogers' best interests to release an app on all media players that Comcast supports. Maybe there are aspects of the Shaw integration that are also holding things up.

Now the app, for more than half the time shows not connected. I switched to Fibe 6 months ago and have regretted it ever since. I watch a lot of 4k sports and I find that the Bell feed tends to be wonky. Is one system more complicated than another? We'll get this investigated for you. Never had this issue with Rogers. The wife prefers Ignite's guide and search functionality to Bell's Mediaroom. The old modems with web setup and full control were so much better!!
