International travel couple. He photographs, she writes. Upon arrival we pulled in to the paddock for free parking yay! With entry, we received an empty plastic bag each for us to fill to the brim with freshly plucked stone fruits for us to take home. The orchard had a bouncy castle for kids, a food truck, ice cream truck and covered tables for setting and a break from the sun. There were rows and rows of fruit trees. Everything from peaches to nectarines to plums. The orchard opened its gates to the public just the day before, so the peach trees had been well picked, but we did manage to find some. Sadly, a couple of the old peach trees had been broken from people climbing on them just the day before. So if you go, please do not climb on the trees. A lot of the peaches were just out of reach, but they did have step ladders around, however next time we may bring our own. The towering trees provided a lot of shade and some of them were being watered, which helped keep us nice and cool, despite it being a 32 degree day. I loved seeing families setting up picnics between the plum trees which were bursting with fruit and the children running along side the rows of trees.
