Using self-tanner can be risky—here's all the facts on Saltyface. When it comes to my own appearance, not so much. Full disclosure: Saltyface gifted me the tanning set , so I had nothing to lose by trying it out except, I suppose, the will to be seen in public in event of disaster. The short version is: I prefer the way I look with my summer tan. I think I look healthier and happier in the summer, and I wanted to get that glow on a little early. I also was curious about how well it worked, and especially eager to try a local brand. I reasoned that if I did have some kind of catastrophe, it would be over soon enough.

Without fragrance, the formula is also ultra-sensitive, compatible with even the most acne prone and sensitive skin.

Tanning Water: Apply to a clean face as the final step of your skin care routine. Add dropperfuls into your hand and apply onto the face using your fingers, blending to the outer edges, over and behind the ears. Repeat application on your neck and chest for the most natural looking tan. Thoroughly wash hands after application. Tan will continue to develop for up to 24 hours, no need to rinse. Tanning Foam: Apply foam directly onto your skin and spread evenly to all desired areas. Use a dry washcloth to buff tan on your wrists creating a natural transition.
