When we first walked in, Trevel not sure if it's spelt right greeted us it made us feel so welcome, he was so friendly and gave us few pieces of lechon kawali as a sample and mango juice for my bday as we ordered other dish.. January Amazing restaurant the foods are so tasty and their kare kare version is to die for, I love the crispy pata too and the lechon kawali. Of course I save the best for last. The staffs are very friendly, Crispy pata - skin was good but meat a touch on the dry side.

Sampaguita Village. Sampaguita Village serves up classic Filipino favourites in Little Manila. The building's drab exterior may not win points for aesthetics, but those craving authentic Filipino comfort food have been frequenting this place for years. There's a lot of hustle and bustle here - you can easily find owner Sam and his daughter Berlinie, cheerfully conversing with patrons during mealtimes. It's a clear vegetable soup with a pronounced tomato flavour that gives it a nice tartness. It's a plate of golden-coloured fried spring rolls, made from scratch in-house, with a side of sweet dipping sauce. It's super tender with a thin crisp skin, I just wish there was some sort of spicy mayo to go with it, but the dish it so delicious it can stand on its own. The fattiness of the pork belly and the perfect crispness of the skin make this one of the best renditions of the dish I've ever tried. Limited quantities are available each day, so make sure you come before they sell out. While still satisfying, I personally prefer the more authentic Korean version, though my dining companions vehemently disagree with me. Nothing fancy. Perfect for clearing those cold-day sinuses.
Seafood Stir Fried Noodle. Not so fancy. The space may be small, but the smiles and laughters are certainly super-sized here.
Problem is they don't accept take out orders for lechon kawali. It very prostrating if you travel far and they say no take out for lechnon kawali. I am a regular customer. The setting is very crowded, tables are very close together and you have to be careful when moving about in the restaurant. The kitchen is part of the dining room and is visible to all customers dining. I have to admit, the food is not bad, we ordered beef with mushrooms, chicken with garlic sauce and lechon. The halo halo was good.
