After her time as a professional dancer, and 20 years of teaching, Sara now focuses her time on her own dance school which has seen 10, talented dancers graduate. The two branches are both located in Madrid with a team of professional teachers who offer training on campus as well as lessons online. With the opening of the headquarters in Madrid, Sara chose a Harlequin Flexity sprung floor with a Harlequin Reversible vinyl top surface for the dance studio. We want our students to learn that if they devote their energy to what they love, with discipline, sacrifice and respect, progression is inevitable. In the new HQ Sara wanted a dance studio that catered for a variety of dance genres. The sprung floor underneath this, Harlequin Flexity, was also very important. I wanted a space where we could teach ballet but also dance genres such as flamenco. The sprung floor reduces the risk of injuries, which is crucial. In July of Kelly moved back to Buffalo from New York City where she had been teaching, performing and choreographing. From , Kelly served as the Dance Chair at The Brooklyn Music School BMS , where she organized and conducted community outreach programs and helped to develop after-school dance curriculum throughout the Brooklyn area. Kelly has taught and choreographed for dancers of all ages, levels, in almost every style of dance.
