I have a 2 storey garage which is partitioned downstairs, on the roller door small side all copper pipes go up one side of the wall and waste pipe for toilet upstairs Its newly built but left roller door open the other night and my wife who works from garage thinks there is a mouse inside. This is quite possible as there is loads of cracks and gaps around copper pipes and waste pipe at my side of the garage Need to get this small area of ceiling sealed up. Is it ok to use expanding foam around copper pipes or is there a better solution? Jay , Jan 11, Expanding foam is ok but chewble by rodents Mastic is a good alternative or decorators cork.
