Should i apply PVA to it for a better stick? I know PVA is a big no no before tiling, but this is to go under a layer of skim but will be in wet areas. Crumbs , May 17, Yes PVA when plastering between coats Prime finished plaster with acrylic SBR Primer before tiling As a wet area, did you consider using tile backer board instead of plaster? No skimming, no sealing, totaly impervious to water if ever a leak. I didnt consider that no and it sounds much simplier, unfortunately my knowledge is limited so i dont really know about these products and ripping the current boards out is bit to much work, especially as the bath likely would need removing id imagine - good to know for next time tho cheers.

If your not used to using this, it could prove difficult first time around as it's not very forgiving in the event of a mistake. You mention the use of a pre-papered lined background, so cross line your walls with say grade lining paper and let dry before hanging the wallpaper. What I would do is size the walls prior to lining then size again over the lining paper and use Solvite wallpaper adhesive to hang your wallpaper. Astramax , Feb 10,

Can you give pepto bismol to a dog
Yep SBR, but if you're not tiling a particularly big area, then one of the smaller 'tile primer' bottles will do. What primer would you use? Theleman , Oct 29, First two are acrylic based but the SBR bond isn't that I can see, though I am more drawn to this as it seems to offer better waterproofing aid.

The slat needs to be mended, perhaps an additional piece if wood to strengthen it, using good wood glue. Check it out. The snapped slat is now glued to the original straight shape, and looks solid. In it something is. Now all is clear, I thank for the information.
I apologise, but, in my opinion, you are mistaken. Let's discuss.
Curiously, but it is not clear
