John goes full Michelle Tanner when confusion sets in. Well hey, look at that—John is actually in the hospital. Nothing about it is logical, but hey, that's what it is. It seems that John didn't drown, but he did end up in the hospital, and he has no memory of how it happened. It seems to be from oxygen deprivation to the entire body, which John claims is due to a diving incident. His doctor believes him, but the state troopers in town do not. He and Mike were diving, and John did run out of breath, but once he was resuscitated, it appears that John revealed a whole ton of information… enough to open an investigation.

Most of them will leave the Florida Keys, a setting that practically became another character on this award-winning drama. Diana moves out of the home she created with her once-prominent husband. Meg is already on the other side of the country, seemingly happier than anyone else. Kevin and Belle flee to another country, but fail in the way that Kevin always does.

As the audience wonders whether John will tell him the truth, breaking the family tradition of lying and secrecy, the screen fades to black. While co-creator Todd A. And hopefully the audience can relate in some way to the personal decisions the Rayburns make. He says that similar to his prior series Damages , which like Bloodline he co-created with his brother Glenn and longtime collaborator Daniel Zelman , the characters in Bloodline are not done, even though the show is. Still, the show had to fade to black at some point, specifically after the episode third season that Netflix determined would be the end of the series. Why did you want to end the series on John and Nolan and on Nolan wanting to find out what happened to his dad? So much of the series is about dealing with the truth and perspective and where those two things collide. John is really the center, in essence, the moral center of the series, of the story, of the family, from the very beginning of the first episode with his voiceover.

Danny tells John he has tipped off Quintana about the drug bust. The show flashes forward to a scene of John with a gun, and John's voiceover implies that Danny has made a huge mistake. Go left. Spoilers below for the entirety of Season 3 of Bloodline , so be warned. And watch out for Kevin. Throughout the majority of Bloodline 's third and final season , the story was tethered to Kevin's trial, and all of the machinations involved with keeping him from paying for his own crimes.
As happened to Kevin, Meg. John tells the family that he and Danny will meet the next day, and goes to the hotel, where Danny has apparently killed the hitman. Evangeline continues to ask Sally for money, which she refuses. Kessler makes it sound like a necessary element in understanding John's mental state so close to the end. There is now another Dr. Meg watches Carlos load boxes into the inn's storage shed. Danny tells him to remember the day their father beat him for the death of Sarah. If You Like In a flashback, it is revealed that Nolan burned down Danny's restaurant. Nice spot, sure. Robert offers him a check to help him start afresh. This is ninth-season-of- Dallas crazy. Danny's ghost asks John if he is sure he's doing the right thing. John arrives at the bus station and declines all of his family member's calls.
