There is an option to self-revive in Hunt Showdown that will give you a huge advantage if it is used properly. Self-revive is only available for players who are queuing to match solo; if you are playing with a team, you are not able to use self-revive. In this guide, we will cover everything that you need to know about self-reviving in Hunt Showdown and how to counter it if you come across players who have it. To have self-revive in Hunt Showdown, you need to have a trait called Necromancer. When you get killed inside the game, you will be able to activate the Necromancer, and you will be revived. Now, this only works if you are playing solo.

The exact trait that does this is called Death Cheat, and is exclusive to solo play. This grants solo players multiple opportunities to stay in the game unless they are completely closed off from being able to revive. This allows players to keep their Hunter and the traits they have attached to said Hunter, but all weapons or items are removed.
