Z racji tego, że wielkimi krokami zbliża się tegoroczna odsłona eventu, chciałem Wam trochę przybliżyć temat samego speedrunningu, opisać pokrótce wydarzenie i zachęcić do wzięcia w nim udziału- w ten czy inny sposób. A warto, bo cel jest szczytny. Ale do tego dojdziemy później. Dlaczego gracie w gry? Ja na przykład gram bo lubię uczucie gratyfikacji płynące czy to z wygranej, czy to z pokonywania coraz to wyższych poziomów trudności, które kiedyś sprawiały mi problem. Inni będą grać żeby po prostu się rozerwać, czy zabawić się wspólnie ze znajomymi z drugiego końca świata. A są tacy, którzy grają, żeby ukończyć grę jak najszybciej.

Over the last week, charity and video game fans have converged for the Summer Games Done Quick event. Speedrunners from around the world came together to run their favorite games, while organizers gave away prizes and offered incentive bonuses for donations. The event was mostly online for the second year in a row due to the pandemic. Its YouTube channel also offers recordings for each run. The run is three hours, 13 minutes, and 12 seconds.
