This campground is closed for the season from October 16, through April 14, This family friendly campground offers a beach for swimming, hiking trails, fishing and kayaking on a small no wake lake. The campground is bordered by state land and is close to Deep Lake, Gun Lake and Yankee Springs Recreational Area which offers additional recreational activities. Host was nice. Check in was easy as was making the reservation. Stayed at on the small lake. Bathrooms and shower was spotless.

Several permanent residents. Clean, neat campground, easy access, spacious sites, nice laundry room, host is very gracious and helpful. Definitely a must for a stop over or a couple days. Nice to walk around and see horses in the Not much available in the St. Joe area. This is a small but tidy park. When we arrived they were overbooked and the owner moved his camper so we had a spot. The road to the campground Friendly staff goes out of their way to be helpful! The only place we're camping this year, one week each month, June-Oct. This campground consists of mostly seasonal rigs. Sites are sandy and fairly close together. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained.

The campground is in almost perfect condition and is spread out over quite a bit of land. The roads are paved and there is a little shade. Sharp Creek campsites have a unique feature at each campsite. There is a lantern holder as seen in the picture above. Campsites are available for tent only, family and group campsites. Be bear aware in this campground and practice good bear prevention at your campsite. The campground is in a central location for hiking, fishing, boating and picnicking.
