I haven't been able to find a single reference to the hall, except protests about students on the BANG website! Does anyone know what the hall was built for, its age? Socially this was not a great place to live, because our flat was more like a terraced house with its own front door rather than sharing a floor or hall with other flats, so we didn't mingle with other Crewe students.
