BlackPete 6 years ago 1. So this is my first time playing Yakuza Kiwami, and I'm still not done yet, but The first Shimano fight the funeral scene bugged me. It took an absurdly long time for me to beat him, because he kept dodging and blocking me, and even more annoyingly, he'd grab me whenever I got close and I have to break loose. Was I seriously underlevelled by the time I reached that stage of the game? It was still pretty early on, so I'm not sure what ability I could've unlocked in order to make the Shimano fight easier. I eventually beat him by whittling his health bar down and spamming items thankfully I had a TON of items before that fight , but it seemed to take way too long, and I just couldn't seem to land any good hits on him before he grabbed me, etc. Since then I've found all fights including Majima to be ridiculously easy.

It is a subsidiary of the Tojo Clan. The Shimano Family was first established in as a subsidiary to the Dojima Family. Due to a last minute change of plans by Kazuo Shibata , Majima was unable to participate in the assassination. His refusal to betray Saejima resulted in him being expelled from the Shimano Family for insubordination and held within their torture dungeon, dubbed "the Hole", for almost a year, before being exiled to Osaka, under the supervision of Shimano's oath brother from the Omi Alliance, Tsukasa Sagawa. In exchange for this hit, Majima would be allowed to rejoin the Shimano Family and re-obtain his former rank.

Futoshi Shimano is one of the characters in the Yakuza series. He is the patriarch of the Shimano Family. Patriarch of the Tojo Clan's Shimano Family. Originally under the Dojima Family umbrella where he and Kazama served as Dojima's twinpillars, his family was later promoted to a direct Tojo Clan subsidiary. He planned to sell it to the Tojo Clan's nemesis, the Omi Alliance, in order to buy their support in his bid for the Tojo chairmanship. As old rivals, he knows the threat Kazama poses, and plans to clear the Tojo Clan of all who support him.

Shimano yakuza

Yakuza 0 is the prequel to the Yakuza series, taking place before any of the events of the other games. As such, we see characters as vastly different versions of themselves in this entry to the series compared to other ones. However, Majima's appearance is much different in Yakuza 0 than in the rest of the Yakuza games. The following contains major spoilers for Yakuza 0. After not following direct orders forbidding him to carry out an assassination, Majima is punished and tossed into a prison known as The Hole where he would be tortured. Things get muddier when Sagawa shows up and increases the needed profit to million yen. However, he is given another option to clear the debt, assassinating a person named Makoto Makimura.
