BlazBlue Entropy Effect is a stylish, fast-paced roguelike that offers a variety of different playstyles to enjoy for hours. Piczle Cross: Story of Seasons is a nonogram puzzle game spin-off inspired by the series and, while not elaborate, is fine for fans. Bandle Tale isn't for everyone, due to the grind and time it demands, but those who "get" it will have a great time reuniting the Yordle community. Pacific Drive is a unique twist on the survival genre that will make you fall in with a car, if you can handle its random difficulty spikes. Shiren the Wanderer: The Mystery Dungeon of Serpentcoil Island maintains the series' challenge and ads plenty of dungeons. The idea of choosing between your personal and professional life in Sympathy Kiss is interesting, but there are elements that remind me of mobile otome games.

We here at Siliconera have named our platform-specific awards, but this is the big one: our overall Game of the Year ! Read on to see what game won the highest honor from the team. These awards represent the consensus of the Siliconera staff. It was a long time coming. Fans had to wait a while for Shin Megami Tensei V , so expectations were high. So meeting them as well as it did? Arise looks as good as the series has always played, and smart efforts to modernize systems allow you to get more immersed in the story without so many hindrances. Hi, everyone! Siliconera is adding a new type of article. That feature could be an interview, a playtest or a review. Reviews will not appear at the same frequency as interviews or playtests. There will never be more than one review per week. A game could get a review, then also get more focused playtests in the form of guides or closer looks at more specific parts of a game. However, a playtested game might not get reviews. However, there will be no undue influence on reviews. In addition, we will not conduct any playtests or reviews on games for which there is a conflict of interest. At the end of every review, we will also fully disclose whether we received a review copy.
