Few know the terrors of the Skullgirl as intimately as Parasoul does: seven years ago her own mother became the Skullgirl that nearly destroyed the world. This tragic past has made her fiercely protective of both her country and her family, and these two priorities frequently come into conflict. Parasoul is now the crown princess of the Canopy Kingdom and leader of its elite military squad, the Black Egrets. Her defining mechanic is her tears, which are mines that linger on the screen and detonate with a big hitbox and lots of hitstun. The threat of tears will deter the opponent from jumping or attacking near them. When nearby, they can be detonated after making contact with certain normals or specials which will open up new confirm opportunities and put trades in her favor.

Brings a DP assist and a projectile assist to the mix, which are good for any team. Builds a decent amount of meter through zoning. Large DP assist, Projectile assist that also locks down and is wonderful for many characters. Silent Scope is a very strong super to DHC from. Pretty flexible team positioning. Assist to let her convert off of instant overhead j. Any generally good assists as Parasoul can play multiple roles. Space-control or projectile assists if you want to zone. Lockdown assists to aid in pressure by giving time to setup tears. Combo tool assists as Parasoul's solo damage isn't stellar.

This combo will get you used to doing charge motions in combos. After you input 5HP, be sure to hold 1 the down-back position so you have a charge ready for [2]8HK. Adding a super cancel to this combo makes it similar her standard ender. Sometimes the last bike won't connect. Putting it all together with a basic air chain. Picking up after this air chain will use OTG, except on light characters. Some slight adjustments make this combo look like her more damaging bread and butters.

Parasoul, unlike her late father, is a firm, fair, wise, and diligent leader who vows to protect the kingdom with the Black Egrets by her side. Her childhood was centered around becoming a warrior that was worthy of her father's legacy. Underneath her serious personality is a noble leader who is thinking about what is best for her kingdom and her family. She attacks with grace, poise, and cunning to defeat her opponents and complete her missions. She prefers to take action over doing paperwork. Although she maintains a solemn demeanor, she tends to be very protective of her sister and the kingdom in general as she does deeply care for their well being. When seeing the pain of others, Parasoul shows sorrow toward those who are suffering.

She's a simple character design in some ways, but her streamlined "clean" look is a nice change of pace from the rest of the bizarre cast. Parasoul's moveset and gameplay style also stands out as "cool" among the roster Parasoul's support characters also add a lot to her overall design as well. I'd say she's my favorite character from Skullgirls , along with Valentine. If there ever was a Skullgirls character who made it to a crossover fighting game of some sort, I'd have my fingers crossed for Parasoul to make the cut. Page Updated: Aug.
