Arcwind Point is a small outdoor Nordic ruin located at the southern edge of Skyrim, south of Ivarstead. This entirely outdoors location is actually several separate ruins. It is guarded by skeletonshigh level draugrand once you have completed Dragon Risingskyrim arcwind point, a dragon. It can be awkward to find the beginning of the path for the former route.

This area is accessible through two winding mountain passes. One path is to the east of Autumnwatch Tower before reaching Froki's Shack marked with some ancient Nordic ruins. The other path is directly south of Haemar's Shame. From the fast travel point, a narrow path leads down to the north, but then curves back towards the south. The path leads generally south and east, past Alchemist's Shack. Turning south, just past Rift Imperial Camp , a winding path leads up to the west. At one point, the Dragonborn gets a high view of the point. The area around the temple is vast. Two groups of five skeletons can be found patrolling the area. Near the center is a platform with a sarcophagus containing a leveled Draugr Deathlord or Dragon Priest. With Dawnguard installed, a word wall and a dragon will also be located there, often leading to fights between the draugr and the dragon. Upon reaching level 78, however, the dragon will always spawn to be a Legendary Dragon.

Arcwind Point is a ruined Nordic structure located at the southern edge of Skyrim , in an isolated valley in the Jerall Mountains. The location actually consists of several separate ruins. The most notable element is the double arch in the center of the valley. To the north is a ruined structure and a tower. To the southeast, a barrow, another ruin, and a few more arches can be found. A Word Wall dedicated to body of Svolo, who possessed strength to kill a Dragon but not stamina to kill many, stands just near the main arch. In 2E , the ruin was overrun by the Worm Cultists. Thallik Wormfather , the leader of the cult in the Rift , performed a necromantic ritual on the ghost of the giant Sinmur in the barrow. The ritual was interrupted by the Vestige , who killed Thallik, but that didn't stop him from merging his soul with Sinmur's, making the giant stronger. In 4E , Arcwind Point was infested with draugr and skeletons.
