Opinions on Lycanthropy vary among factions in Skyrim: some members of the Companions in Whiterun see it as a blessing, a way of drawing out the strength and ferocity of their inner beast though the Harbinger , Kodlak Whitemane sees it as more of a curse that holds him back from entering Sovngarde after death.
