Severin Manor is a large, Redoran -style manor located in the north-west corner of Raven Rockmidway between the market square and the Earth Stone. It is the only ownable skyrim raven rock house available to the player on Solstheim.

The jail and the Redoran guards' garrison are built into the Bulwark, which is the city's main defense against the ash from the Red Mountain. A curved wooden boardwalk runs along the bay, with a short pier near the center and a longer pier to the east. The Northern Maiden , which plies its trade between Solstheim and the city of Windhelm in Skyrim , is docked at the long pier, and three rowboats are docked elsewhere in the bay.

It is northwest of the Abandoned Building , being the last building along the path to the Earth Stone to the west. In front of the entrance are three scathecraw plants and a trama root. Along the north wall is a small table, a food barrel with four cabbages on top, a table holding a variety of food and drink, three fish barrels, one of which has three loaves of bread on top, and two chairs and a small round table holding a bottle of sujamma , a bottle of shein , and copies of The House of Troubles and The Five Far Stars. The laden table holds a bottle of sujamma, a bottle of shein, three bottles of wine , two bottles of alto wine , two loaves of bread, three ash yams, and an iron war axe. In the middle of the room, stairs lead down to the lower floor, with two food urns on the south side of the stairs. At the bottom of the stairs is an area with rooms beyond doors to the south and west, alchemy and enchanting areas in alcoves to the south and north of the west door, respectively, and a smithing area down a short corridor north of the south door. In the corridor to the smithing area is a bench, an ingredient urn, and a food urn. In the smithing area itself, in the southwest corner is a row of three empty weapon racks, a meat barrel, an unusable barrel, and three practice dummies in front of four straw bales.

After helping Raven Rock over the course of two long quests, you have earned the trust of its Second Councilor, Adril Arano. Your deeds have changed his attitude towards you since you arrived from Skyrim , so much so that he needs your help with a delicate matter. He needs you to find and stop a group of assassins from killing his friend and Councilor Lleri Moravyn. Thanks to your status as an outsider, you would be able to investigate far more subtly than his existing attempts. After saving them from Ash zombies and economic ruin, protecting their leader is a small ask to add to the pile. In both of these quests, you would have saved Raven Rock from an onslaught of Ash Spawn and reopened their ebony mine , returning them their source of income. Arano was the first person to greet you when you arrived at Raven Rock to start Dragonborn. Arano is compelled to ask you for help as he is trying to stop his friend and colleague, Lleri Moravyn, from assassination. Thanks to his status and personal friendship, the assassins are watching him closely and are quick to clear their tracks whenever he tries to investigate them.
