Yesterday we posted a new tutorial and a new Product Focus on Splitcoaststampers. The tutorial was a basic one on Inking with Markers. The product review goes hand in hand with the tutorial and is about the Distress Markers. My son is coming home for Labor Day. It combines dies and embossing resist to create unique backgrounds. We call it Puzzle Piece Resist. I stamped the zig zag background stamp from Simon Says Very Special stamp set in VersaMark all over the cardstock and embossed it with clear embossing powder.

I layered the purple ribbon over top of a blue one, and then over the embossed background SU! Painted Posies embossing folder. Leave a comment. Posted in cards, etc. Cactus Cuties set for a long time and thought it might work well. The inside is very simple, but I did manage to coordinate it a bit. I am always trying to remember to do that and take the time to follow through! For my card today, I used a really old SU! I started with a piece of watercolor paper and lightly spritzed it with water. Then I stamped the images and let the colors bleed.

The theme for August was the Kitchen Sink. I paper pieced the heart for the little piggy. Anyway, the sanding reminded me of this class because at the bottom of the card, the kit included sandpaper for the beach. Since the card was mainly black and white, I wanted to add a happy rainbow color which is where the shaker sequins came in. Oct 04, 23 am. Get It Together!
