Due to his father wanting to stop his son from crying about the marriage because of the way she acted in the picture, he had Stolas go to a circus where Fizzarolli and Blitzo were performing in. Stolas liked Blitzo and his jokes, so his father had a talk with Blitzo's father and bought Blitzo to be Stolas' playmate so he doesn't have to deal with him. The two became friends and met again years later during one of Stella's parties, where Blitzo tried to steal the Grimoire. Stolas mistook him for wanting to engage in sexual activity, which Blitzo used to obtain Stolas' book and thus gain access to Earth and begin the formation of I. Stolas either didn't notice or cared about this and instead used this to initiate his divorce with Stella when Blitzo told her that they did it.

Stolas helluva boss
Hot off the heels of its sister show, Hazbin Hotel , the deviously delightful indie adult animated musical Helluva Boss is coming for the back half of season two. Coming off the Season 2 mid-season finale, the music video set the stakes as Stolas debates breaking up with Blitzo and letting him go. Helluva Boss has also found equal success with the Pilot episode having 62 million views on YouTube.

Poor Communication Kills : He's all but stated to legitimately be head-over-heels in love with Blitzo, but the fact that he expresses said love by constantly flirting with Blitzo in public and talking inappropriately about their sex life causes Blitzo and others to believe that the imp is nothing more than Stolas' sex toy. Andrealphus has to point out that if she murders Stolas now, all of his possessions will go to Octavia, and that she should hold off on killing her husband until after she's arranged to inherit all that was his. Dysfunctional Family : Stolas is clearly unhappy with Stella and resorts to having affairs with Blitzo. In addition, it's heavily implied that his even more perverted side was due to him still being on the high from having experienced actually emotionally fulfilling sex for the first time in his life as opposed to him teasing Blitzo. Hate at First Sight : As a child, he started bawling his eyes out upon being shown a picture of a young Stella by his father. Future episodes revealed that Stella has been abusive sadistic monster from day one constantly demeaning Stolas at every opportunity. Although, he is married, it is clear that he and his wife are not on affectionate terms, and that their marriage is implied to have been somewhat cold for a long while. Can't Kill You, Still Need You : Andrealphus makes Stella put her hit on Stolas on hold due to the fact that all of the assets would go to Octavia if Stolas was killed during their divorce proceedings. Even Evil Has Standards : His Instagram shows him happily going to see Blitzo with dirty thoughts clearly in mind, realizing Blitzo is drunk, and tucking him into bed with water and some aspirin. Your mother and I, I just Failed a Spot Check : He personally intervenes to save I. This will be fun! Unlike Stolas, who did the same thing with Octavia out of concern for her, Paimon only does this because he doesn't want to go to the effort of actually comforting him.
Adaptation Species Change : The demons of Ars Goetia were all stated to be Fallen Angels , but the Goetica of the show appear to have been born demons and have no relationship to Heaven in any form. Downplayed though, as the latter two names are still unusual, but are at least heard of. At the very least, an official source has confirmed that Stolas trumps Alastor in both rank and actual infernal power.
Sophisticated as Hell : He sounds and acts like he has the proper amount of class his position demands While Stolas doesn't give him any monetary assistance, he's the owner of the grimoire that's pretty much the backbone of I. Kicking Ass in All Her Finery : A bit downplayed, but her furious rant at Stolas, with much throwing of plants and servants, is all done in an elegant white dress. High Collar of Doom : Appropriate for a high lord of Hell, he wears a long, high-collared cape. His four eyes are a solid red color, but when sufficiently excited or startled, his primary set of eyes gain a pair of little white pupils, though the eyes atop his head remain the same regardless. This ability has the potential to be weaponized heavily , as the ability covers a large area and leaves surroundings burns and charred, as seen when Paimon, likely obliviously, disintegrated half of the large tent the butler was in. He has four eyes, two placed where one would expect eyes to be and two over those. His face resembles that of a fiendish owl. Stolas apologizes for his behavior and actions, saying that things between him and Stella are complicated in a way where he can't find the right words. Modest Royalty : When not performing his royal duties or posing for family portraits, Stolas is shown to be very casual and laid-back. He is also one of the most powerful authority characters in the overall setting barring Lucifer, his family and the Exorcists. She even looks directly at him while calling him a "loser". By contrast, Stella is a spoiled, abusive bad-tempered socialite whose grudge and abusive treatment towards Stolas is fueled by him having an affair with the show's equivalent of a peasant. This time, Andrealphus manages talk her down from the plan, pointing out that she has nothing to gain and everything to lose by bumping off Stolas before the divorce is finalized noting that having him killed will be fair game afterwards , leading her to reluctantly call off the hit. Heel Realization : Is silently hit with this in "OZZIE'S" after Blitzo tells him that Stolas has only ever treated the imp as a sex object, so he doesn't see anything deeper to their relationship than transactional sex.
