After Gerald claims that the reason for the problem is the other side, Harvey responds by saying that Gerald is the cause of the hold up with the deal. Despite Gerald's assertions that Harvey should fix the problem, and after threatening to pay someone else to fix it, Harvey informs Gerald that since the deal was already signed by the other side, they have already been paid in full, with Jessica backing his position. Reluctantly, Gerald leaves. Jessica then discovers that Harvey had lied about their fee having already been paid, but lets him off with a smile.
