Here is a more detailed look at what happens in each scene of Hamlet, to help you look at the structure of the play and interrogate it. Rosencrantz and Guildenstern share their observations of Hamlet with Claudius and Gertrude. Hamlet has cleverly used wordplay to avoid giving straightforward responses to their questions.
