Hi guys! Happy hump day. But, mainly because I like the comfort aspect of sneakers far more than I do sandals! A sneaker can be just as cute and versatile as a sandal or ballet flat. As woman with a foot that is somewhere in-between regular and wide, sneakers tend to lend a little more width than your average shoe, too. Supergas are great casual sneakers for wider feet, and I have tried a lot of sneakers over the years! But, Superga really takes the cake.

In my book, a good pair of white sneakers is just as much of a wardrobe essential as a little black dress. They're cute, practical and easy to throw on as you're headed out the door. But, it all comes down to picking the right ones. On my hunt for a pair that is just as cute as they are comfortable, I stumbled across the celebrity-loved brand Superga. Superga has been around since and the brand says that its style, "has been an icon from the beginning. When they showed up at my door, I knew I made the right choice. I instantly loved the classic feel and clean lines. Plus, the canvas material felt perfect for the spring and summer months ahead. With the clean, white material and tan sole, I loved the classic look the moment I slipped my feet into them. The shoes are supportive without being chunky, fitted without being too tight and they show just the right amount of ankle. Since I got my pair I've worn them just about everywhere: to the office, on a flight they're easy to slip on and off for security and to a bridesmaids' brunch. So it would be an understatement to say I've gotten my money's worth.

I did bring a fourth shoe, a dressy Steve Madden block heel sandal for dinner at a Michelin star restaurant in Tuscany. You do realize these are basically old school Vans with a hideous Keds some, right? In my book, superga comfort, a good pair of white sneakers is just as much of a wardrobe superga comfort as a little black dress.

The design is over years old but has been transformed over the years to feature new heights, fabrics, and weather-friendly options, too. And over my decade analyzing kicks, Superga sneakers stand out as one cringeworthy case where iconic style in no way translates to substantive quality. I wish I could say different after so eagerly taking a pair of much-hyped Supergas for a test drive. But after just a single wear trial, it became crystal clear why savvy consumers should look elsewhere. Founded way back in , Superga has built an iconic brand around their vintage tennis-style sneakers. Their signature cotton canvas surface and rubber soles definitely nail a retro chic look. The question is…can their construction and comfort actually hold up to wear and tear or is it all superficial? Through wearing, lab testing, crowdsourced reviews research and competitor comparisons, the verdict may surprise loyal fans: iconic styling but inconsistent sizing, materials that deteriorate quickly, zero cushioning and lack of arch or ankle support.

They have become a staple in my travel wardrobe. As for comfort and breaking in Supergas , they take a few weeks of consistent wear to really get the canvas pliable. However, I noticed that the insole seems to be glued in. They look very cute. I love how stylish other women look with their sleek outfits paired ever so casually with a sneaker.
