At times I am left banging my head against the wall — or grumbling a few choice words — because the class lacks the structure and drive I so crave in my regular English classes. My co-teacher and I work fantastic together, and have tried to do what we can with them. Classroom teachers will find the parent communication templates a big help as well as birthday fun, field trip slips, absent student notes, desk tags, homework agendas, etc. As a homeschool mom, I liked the reference charts and the printable items to place on the wall like sight words, days of the week, money, number words, etc. All kids like games of different types and, of course, some friendly competition to go along with it. Math games, Soduko puzzles, Social Studies games, detective style games, hidden pictures, riddle worksheets and so much more make learning fun.
