Suspect , released in October , is often overlooked in a pile of Cher pictures with flashier parts, which is unfortunate because I believe Kathleen Riley is a very precise and unusual character in a smart Cher film, smart from its locations and themes to its deft supporting performances. Cher signed to do Suspect in before she agreed to do the film Moonstruck. Consequently, Suspect was delayed six weeks for the filming of Moonstruck.
