Tachibana ginchiyo nioh

Tachibana Ginchiyo is the wife of Tachibana Muneshige. Muneshige, who she had known from childhood, is the adopted son of Tachibana Dosetsu , said to have been so fierce that he killed a god of lightning with his sword when a thunderbolt fell near him. Ginchiyo inherited not only her father's legendary sword " Raikiri " lightning slicer , but also his ferocity as a warrior: she shows no fear whatsoever before the likes of Yokai. The bond between Ginchiyo and her husband is loyal and firm, and their combined military prowess is feared even by the blood-soaked warriors of Kyushu. She is first seen talking to William in Tachibana Castle regarding the missing of her husband, Tachibana Muneshige. This is one of the fifth Sub Missions you can undertake in Nioh, and takes place in an entirely new area. Unlike other sub missions, this one takes place in an entirely different map. From here, things get a bit complicated. You need to find a "gift" which is located in a large chest. The problem is it can be any chest, and there are many chests in this mission.

He is your first human boss opponent and as such is a very different fight. He employs many katana moves, most notably the Iai style of rushing up to draw his sword with one powerful stroke. Luckily, a high defense and guard can block the attack with Ki to spare, letting you counter. As a human opponent, your main goal is to drain his Ki while managing your own, and making use of your Grapple and finishing blows when he runs out of Ki. Beyond his Iai move, he also employs rapid strikes, and a power-up move by spinning his sword in a long circle. If he runs back to pull out his triple-shot bow, block the strikes and follow up with your own if you want. He may also summon his own Guardian Spirit, which will leap at you after a moment to deal electrical damage. Wait for the lunge at range and dodge to the side. When you face him again in the Sub Mission 6: Invitation from the Warrior of the West , things will get even harder. In addition to his previous attacks, his blade will now be infused with lightning - meaning his Iai strikes will deal damage even if you block - which is bad news.
