Tailsmo is the het ship between Tails and Cosmo from the Sonic X fandom. Tails first encounters Cosmo after she lands on Sonic's planet for the first time in the episode A Cosmic Call. Along with Cream, Cheese, and Amy, Tails witnesses her spaceship crash down before finding her unconscious. They bring her to Cream's house and soon find out she is looking for Sonic. Soon after, a Metarex attacks the planet in search of its Planet Egg.

Cosmo is a main character from Sonic X. Cosmo is a female child of a plant-like alien species whose homeworld was destroyed by the villainous Metarex. It's widely accepted that her primary purpose in the series is that of a love interest but not girlfriend for Tails , the two characters being of the same age and displaying an overt fondness for one another. Cosmo the Seedrian is the love interest of Miles "Tails" Prower, but she died before he could admit his feelings for her. Cosmo first appeared in episode 53 of Sonic X. Her former home world was destroyed by the Metarex before she was born and she was raised on a space colony. Tailsmo is the romantic relationship between Miles 'Tails' Prower and Cosmo.
