By Fratzfamily , November 28, in General Discussion. I found this beautiful female Carcharodontosaurus. I spent hours trying to solo tame her. OK, no biggie, to be expected. She then stopped eating, sniffing, everything, she just walks around. Any thoughts on how to fix this?

I have a Carchar trapped on official 1x. Will one dead giga baby enable me to jump on it straight away vs a baby rex? And do you think I can tame it by killing the wilds in the desert on Crystal Isles or do I have to breed Diplodocus to pull the last stage off? Thanks in advance. Who knows??? At least you found one. Playing private server on the island I have nailed I dunno how many Giga's. And I still ain't seen this mythical creature. I actually think its just and advertising gimmick, and does not really exist in game LOL. If its possible to design a trap that doesn't register it being fully trapped, that might work.

Taming a Carcharodontosaurus requires a specific taming method unlike any other creature, which can usually simply be knocked out and fed meat. Carcharodontosaurus can be found in the mountains on The Island in Ark: Survival Ascended and are most easily located on the volcano. However, this can create problems with taming as they are dangerous areas that are full of other aggressive creatures that will hunt you, or get into a fight with the Carcharodontosaurus itself. Make sure you have plenty of armor for protection and, ideally, a high-level carnivore tame for protection. Carcharodontosaurus has a unique taming method in Ark: Survival Ascended and, unlike the majority of other carnivores, cannot be tamed via violent knock-out methods. Instead, you must kill other wild creatures and drag the corpses towards the Carcharodontosaurus to gain trust.
