Tapo home assistant
Does anyone know if the TP-Link P smart plug is supported on home tapo home assistant. It looks like it uses its own app called Tapo rather than the Kasa app. These plugs are cheaper and more compact than the HS plugs. After configuration,you can control the plug locally without any internet but your phone needs to connect to your home wifi network.
You might need to open v lan ports only if you know what all of this means. You can also simply click the button below if you have MyHomeAssistant redirects set up. See examples for lovelace cards. I just bought 2x Tapo C Cameras. But there is no Tapo Integration for them? They are also not found automatically by HA notification…. I have been using the standard onvif integration for tapo cameras, is the custom tapo integration more reliable? With the onvif integration, I find camera motion sometimes stops working, usually if I reboot the camera or home assistant. Another restart of home assistant usually gets it working again for a while. Can anybody help me? Tapo integration is better. You can also use service calls in HA to control settings that are available in the app with the Tapo Integration Privacy mode by example. Problem with the TAPO app integration is that you need a cloud account. Cloud services are paying services. This is not what I want.
