Years ago, Target was a great place to pick up many basic menswear items — items like t-shirts, henleys, polos, even some sweaters. Then something changed, and for the last few years, the fits and quality of these items has just been off. With a lookbook that garnered quite a bit of interest , and the promise of the great Target essentials we all used to know and love — plus, even better, many new fantastic-looking items — this new style move by Target was poised to really be something quite great. Finally, today is the day that the brand is officially available in Target stores around the country as well as online. Well, I spent my morning at Target to get you the answers to all the questions you might have For starters, the new line offers a lot of options. The sizing is pretty sparse, and not everything is available in every size, though. This is either because things are selling out that quickly not sure this is the reason , or because Target just has not gotten everything in yet more likely. Either way, it's an issue that should be resolved with some time. I should take this time to note that I am about 6 foot 1, lbs. It's labeled as a Standard fit and it is. I'm a slim guy and so this thing was too big on me. The material was also rather scratchy and uncomfortable. As far as looks go, though, it's quite nice.

At a few bucks cheaper than the proper dress shirts, the oxford shirts are slightly more reasonable. However, when you can get, say, Charles Tyrwhitt shirts on sale for the same price, this is a hard purchase to justify as, while the quality is solid, target mens pants, it's not anywhere near as good.

I like the feel of the material and I appreciate the bell sleeves for bringing a little drama to an otherwise normal shirtdress. Tweed Blazer. But something will work out. But they don't. The zipper is not as smooth as it could be. This is actually pretty nice. The flannel fit slimmer than the denim shirt, which was looser than the oxford shirt. But some positivity here, because Target really did do a great job here: Overall, quality and fit have improved drastically from what we have come to expect from Target over the last few years. As you can see above, the Slim fit shirt actually fits quite nicely, and is a true slim. Slim Fit Chinos. At this price, or similar, I prefer Uniqlo tees. In the sleeves , at least, this jacket is much slimmer than Uniqlo's, which are comparably designed and priced. In my opinion, a little bit too long to wear untucked. There are rules. Fleecy and soft inside, but smooth on the outside.

Good luck out there and at the gym. It's labeled as a Standard fit and it is. This is actually pretty nice. Even with the nice amount of stretch to these, they are just not my chino. It also comes in a lighter shade. I love the dark denim wash. There is still work to be done on Target's part — and I hope they continue to improve — but this is a major step in the right direction, and a real foundation upon which to build.
