I'm going to say a couple disclaimers before I get too far into this. I did not get this kit on the ground. I mocked the kit up and decided to go with Maximum Motorsports instead. So, with that being said, I have no idea how these feel when driving. I am still working on putting my car together, so there are parts that I still have not had time to get around installing. So, let's get started. I purchased my parts through a vendor I found on Facebook.

That might get even better when your wife wants an 8-second Fox-body, formerly a high-profile magazine project car, once owned by the legendary former voice of the NMRA , Dr Jamie Meyer, and wheeled by one of the original Super Street Outlaw legends Carlo Catalanotto. A now old-school Vortech X-trim Mondo supercharger feeds non-intercooled boost straight to the long-runner Trick-Flow intake. With an old school Vortech X-trim, and cubic-inch engine on board, the black Fox-body coupe proved to be a little more than what Mrs Z wanted to take on. Zimmerman also worked with Strange Engineering on developing some new, custom valved, double adjustable rear shocks that he could offer to customers. Late last summer Zimmerman took the car out to the track, with some suspension tuning he managed to improve the 60 foot times from 1. It split, literally in the middle, and Zimmerman parked the car until he had time to work on it over the winter. Zimmerman also updated the rear end of the car, swapping out the spline axles for new spline units, and putting 9-inch ends on the housing to negate the need for C-clip eliminators. Team Z Motorsports , long known for its prowess with late-model Mustangs, has been working on fourth-gen Camaros and Firebirds for years under the radar, and is now poised to bring a host of products to the market for them. Team Z Motorsports is in its 21st year of building race cars and manufacturing chassis upgrades for both street and racing vehicles. With a background in prototyping for the OEMs, Team Z owner Dave Zimmerman was already fabricating at a high level of quality when he went into business for himself. Now over 20 years later, he leads a team of 35 employees with enough machinery to build just about anything. Team Z has had plenty of experience over the years of building and upgrading chassis of other makes and models, though, including the fourth-gen F-body Camaro and Firebird platform. Currently, Team Z Motorsports plans to offer 8- and point roll cage options for the fourth-gen F-body platform, with other options possible based on demand. Like many other unibody chassis, the fourth-gen F-body is prone to flex, especially with the T-top-equipped cars, and the majority of them seem to be so equipped.
