Just was wondering if anyone else has picked one of these lowers up and their thoughts? What's the point? You can pick up a complete metal lower for the same price or a couple bucks more. The weight savings would be minimal at best. I may give one a try for my ultralight build. For the price I am not risking much. Unlike many here I consider the rifle a backup to a backup weapon. Saw that and most are having issues with them as well, theyre like on their third revision of the lowers. Interesting, I wouldn't mind getting one just for kicks and testing purposes. There have been kinks in the first two runs but the owners have been up front on everything. Even offering full refunds with a credit of half the lower onto the account. They are allowing no questions asked exchanges for new runs. If anything they have showed how to weather a slew of new product launch and take constructive criticism into new product runs.

I picked up some of the plum crazy lowers before they split and started back up with better they say design, I had one problem with the trigger assembly failing and the rifle going full auto until the mag was empty but would not fire again if reloaded yea I tried lol. One issue that 3 of them have now is the polymer housing the roll pin for the bolt catch has cracked on one side. They are future builds. I would also like to see a video with your lower chocked in a vice and a lb man hanging on the receiver extension or a true, mortaring abuse test. The fit - absolutely zero light gap or slop anywhere - is darned surprising. I always thought I would like a poly unit for weight savings.
