Lightweight Performance. Premium Composite Irons. I agree to the processing of my data in accordance with the conditions set out in the policy of Privacy. Mitsubishi shafts with Orange indicate the shaft is counterbalanced -- meaning additional weight and material is concentrated in the handle to increase activity near the tip side for more club head speed. The low launch, low spin TENSEI 1K Pro Orange achieves counterbalance by using tungsten powder in the handle section and also features super-premium 1K carbon fiber in the handle to decrease ovalization and deformation under load. This increases stability and also makes the shaft feel better. The shaft is further fortified through the use of high-modulus MR70 material tip side and is finished off with our breakthrough Xlink Tech Resin System to drastically increase carbon fiber volume for better feel without sacrificing any of the shaft's strength. Key Features Include: - Tungsten powder to create counterbalance for increased club head speed - Super-premium 1K carbon fiber used in handle for increased stability - MR70 for strength - Xlink Tech Resin System drives carbon fiber volume way up for better feel without sacrificing strength or durability Who should play it? Anyone who likes the feel of counterbalance who is also looking for a bit of speed. They added a higher quality material in the 1K fiber not featured in the standard AV line. Add them all together, and you have another fantastic golf shaft. The counterbalancing makes it feel fast, and some players will see speed gains from the weight shift. Custom built clubs shipped working days. Greetings, Floris.
Smooth, premium feel. Counter balancing can help some players gain speed or alter their ball flight. On the more subtle side, the base color shifts from black at the tip to grey in the middle. Overall, this is another great looking shaft by Mitsubishi. The difference between the Orange and White is typically about two swing weight points.

For me, that difference is noticeable in how the driver feels during the swing. The profile fits me perfectly, and I love the consistency it delivers off the tee. The first thing I noticed when testing the 1K Pro Orange is that swinging it felt effortless.

While other brands create confusion annually with new colors, codes, and profiles, MCA has stuck to their red high launch , blue mid launch , and white low launch scheme for as long as I can remember. That line up got a new addition this year with the release of the low launching, counter-balanced Tensei Orange. The Tensei Orange features the same low-key graphics package of the other Tensei shafts with the exception of the orange band. The orange band and branding cover the middle of the shaft, and everything near the club head is black to eliminate distractions.

That line up got a new addition this year with the release of the low launching, counter-balanced Tensei Orange. Nice review Matt real nice. As always, work with a qualified fitter to find the best model for you. That head usually runs almost 10 grams heavier than a TM or CW. Best wishes, Floris. Matt, enjoyed your comments.
