The Crew season 1 hasn't earned spectacular reviews thus far, but the situational humor could make it popular amongst Netflix subscribers. The business woman's Stanford education and silicon valley experience could benefit the company's finances, yet her immediate decisions don't please crew chief Kevin Gibson James. She also changes the day-t0-day office dynamics, and awkwardly attempts to pretend that she's part of the gang and not a stoic entrepreneur who's mostly concerned about the bottom line. The Crew season 1 finale introduces several points of conflict, including an unexpected romance between two of the main characters. However, the biggest question is whether Kevin will prioritize his happiness after realizing that he just may be in love with a long-time friend. Given that James is a relatively big star and Mueller seems to be a star-in-the-making, a second installment does indeed seem likely. Even if The Crew season 2 doesn't receive positive reviews, it could still become a popular title amongst casual streamers. Netflix will presumably take a one-season-per-year approach with The Crew, assuming that James doesn't have any major scheduling conflicts with his movie career.
