Follow these dishes with pumpkin and fetta filled Tempura Zucchini Flowers or Blue Swimmer Crab with avocado timbal, Salmon caviar dressing and croutes. These are just a handful of the dishes available on the diverse Tapas Menu. The menu is seasonal so frequently changes to capture the produce at its freshest.

The Deck Cafe Lovedale is located at Gartelmann Wines, providing an extensive breakfast menu, tapas style lunch menu and Friday and Saturday Dinners complimented by Gartelmann wines and a generous range of beverages and Premium Vittoria Coffee. The cafe is situated on the deck overlooking the dam in young forest bushland. It is an experience to remember with local chefs and staff cooking and serving cafe favourites with a Hunter Valley fine-dining twist. Dropped in without a reservation for breakfast, sitting outside on the Deck overlooking the pond. It was rather pleasant to be able to see and hear the water from the fountain in the pond noting how very dry the Hunter Valley is at the moment The breakfast menu has a couple of different items from the usual menus you see everywhere so was good to choose something different. Service was timely and the serving size was plentiful and food tasty. A rainy day in the Hunter Valley so decided on a late lunch. While The Deck opens to the small lake, the staff were so lovely in rolling a heater over and getting us a couple of lap rugs which ensured we were cosy. Coffee was excellent too! We really enjoyed the afternoon, good and service.
