GF items are clearly marked on the menu. Overall, really good experience. Lots of options for gluten free folks, especially if you like steamed seafood. The Mad-amame was delicious! Delicious place to eat,def get the fish bites! Love the atmosphere when I was picking up food George Jones was playing over speakers. Def not a chain type restraunt, stayed in a house directly behind here and drove by coming off beach and was line waiting for them to open at 5 pm. So we figured it was good and our figuring was correct. I got a seafood trio type of platter with shrimp. I felt the portion size was fair for the price, but the quality was lacking. Everything was pretty bland. The scallops were greasy and the breading was more of a gelatinous covering than a fry breading.

We love the mad crabber! And we couldn't have asked for a better meal or better service! While covid had me worried that we wouldn't be able to enjoy the Mad Crabber this summer, they per usual knocked it out of the park. We were We ordered the crab dip, fish bites, the crabber platter, the mad crabber spicy shrimp and the grilled sea scallop entree - everything came out on time and was amazing! I highly recommend the Hatteras Hurricane and the Pina Colada. Also took a couple bottles home of their famous Mad Sauce!!! One of the best places we have been to on Hatteras. We will be back again!!!
