Went in for a carvery and boy was it lovely.. Great banter from the chef, definitely will use again. Actually attending funeral party so didn't buy much. Buffet was fine. Staff obliging, good pint of Butcombe! This place serves a huge choice of very good food, with large portions, with friendly and helpful staff. What a lovely place. As soon as you walk in you get the wow factor, but a word to the wise you need to book as this place gets busy. We were met by the barman who was helpful and friendly and arranged our drinks and showed us to our table. We then met the wonderful waitress who was also helpful and friendly. The chef serving the carvery food was so friendly and we did have a laugh, it certainly makes a difference when staff make you feel welcome. Food was very reasonably priced and tasted so good. Would highly recommend and well done everyone. Only criticism was that the Bailey's Cheesecake didn't taste of Bailey's at all, so slightly disappointing.
