The woman at the next table keeps staring at me. When her dining companion starts looking over too, it starts to get odd. As I turn around it all makes sense. The high-ceilinged room has been imaginatively divided up into sections with a mezzanine level, a little nook in the wall for one lucky group and tables covering almost every scrap of floor space, making trips across the room a logistical challenge for the waiting staff. Our waitress is smiley and laid back. The verdict? And very hammy.

Outsider has easily become one of our favorite Spokane restaurants. The food is always spectacular. It just aligned with our thoughts on sustainability and proper treatment of animal and vegetable. Go visit. You will not be disappointed. Loved it and will definitely be back! Parking: I only wish they had more parking options nearby as most of the spots in the VERY small lot seem to be taken by the other building tenants. Had to walk a couple blocks to get there. Also hard to find any parking for restaurant when there are events at the Arena.
