It has a complex nutty, malty taste and a bright chestnut hue. Mosaic hops are similar to Citra, but has an even more intense flavour. This has imparted bold hop characters of peach, mango, lemon and pine. All these lovely flavours are complemented by pale ale malt, lager malt and a touch of light cara malt to gently balance the beer whilst allowing the fruity hop flavours to shine through.

Well, you all certainly got involved, voting for your special place and we got some great ideas as to where to try ourselves as and when time allows. Previously we have sampled his wares at The Spotted Cow at Holbrook and The Marquis on Codnor Denby Lane so hopefully we were in for a scrummy roast dinner on this occasion: no pressure, Chef!! The Beef was perched artfully on a litter of herbed roasties which were bloody lovely, I have to say! A pair of white oval platters housed the vegetables Carrots, Green Cabbage and fine Green Beans , another contained the burnished crust-covered Cauliflower Cheese and a small glass pot held the piggies — not for long though as Mummy and His Nibs snaffled them tout suite! Equally happy were Mummy and I; our beef was beautifully juicy with a superb flavour to it that lingered nicely on the palate.

Hours : Spanker Ln, Belper Menu. Fantastic quiz night at this local traditional pub. The staff were wonderful and service excellent. Did not have any food as quiz night. Definitely recommend this friendly and well run establishment. October Stopped in for a couple of drinks while visiting family.

Food was lovely. Keep your budget organized. Particularly recommend the Kebabs, the best I've ever tasted. Food was delicious and freshly prepared. Arthur's is a fantastic place to eat. First visit here. Lovely food and great service. Just loved this place, wonderful menu that can not only cater for vegans but also gluten-free options too. Cannot fault any of the food or service. We welcome the help of all users to contribute to this important campaigning project. They sell paintings and art from local artists too.

I would have given it 5 stars , but the music is set far too loud. Simple pub with real ales and a menu of classic grub, plus kids' options and Sunday carvery. Low ceilings, beams and stone floors.
