I currently run a shard set to fix issues on ALL my [Gauss] thermal sunder warframe that I would otherwise need mods for, thermal sunder warframe, a universal set if you will: 1 casting speed, very nice 2 energy orb effectiveness, even better than energize when tau, even more so with zenurik 2 energy max, this removes the need for [Flow]but these are flexible, especially if you sub in [Flow]. Is it not worth it without gauss' other abilities to back it up? I heard you can't armorstrip with it. Has anyone experimented with this ability after putting it on another frame? With the "Thermal Transfer" Augment it's ok Really depends on what you're using it for. Titania with thermal sunder is a thing apparently.

This is mainly a Guide to help you understand thermal sunder better, how to nuke with it traditionally, and help you figure out what can be done to make this build your own, or even make an entirely different build! Hopefully after this you will understand the ability well enough to apply it's effects to any situation as you like, prefer, or as is needed. Gauss Prime is one of the best Warframes in the game to nuke opponents with ease. To succeed with this Warframe, all you need to know is that his Thermal Sunder ability is overpowered. Augur mods in this build are a game-changer, turning the energy you use for Thermal Sunder into Shields, adding a sneaky defensive edge to the ability. Some of the utility mods in this build can be changed by Health and Invulnerability mods like Rolling Guard and Archon Vitality for extra, non-Shields survivability. This can be a harsh CC for enemies without overguard, and as cold will slow them down as well, you have a very powerful survivability and objective protection tool. Casting Cold first then Heat will knock enemies outwards , while casting Heat first then Cold will pull enemies in towards the player. Originally I wanted to use Gauss and replace his 1 for Nourish for energy and some extra viral priming on being hit and extra viral on weapons but now Roar looks very appealing.
