I will not be using this for this part of the tutorial, tinkers construct. While you're there, feel free to look at the Shovel and the Axe icons, tinkers construct note the required parts for those. There are also 4 other craftable books to help with more advanced features. The mod stems from patterns you create that ultimately craft the different parts to your desired tools and weapons. The Stencil Table allows you to turn blank patterns into essentially part blueprints.
Tinkers construct
This guide will cover how to craft a Melter in the Tinkers Construct, and basic ways of usage. The Smelter is a precursor to the Smeltery, with it being slightly less powerful. Each time an Ore is smelt within a Melter, an extra 3 Nuggets will be provided. Inside the Melter, 3 Ores can be smelted at once, with it having a total capacity of 9 Ingots in molten form. So it might also be useful for smelting the likes of drops from Piglins, such as Gold Swords and Armor. A fuel source, such as Coal or Lava is also required to operate it. All of these items are crafted from Seared Bricks. A single Seared Brick can be obtained by smelting a Block of Grout.
